Repricing the Asian bond exit
Net foreign sales of bonds in five Asian markets reached US$8.21 billion in September, the largest month since March 2020, while equities also saw heavy withdrawals. For allocators, the issue is how to hold duration, liquidity and peer risk against a much higher US yield.
